GlobeTel to Construct Wireless Network in Russia

GlobeTel has been awarded a US$600 million contract by Russia's LLC Internafta for deploying wi-fi networks in 30 Russian cities in the next 27 months, starting from Moscow and St. Petersburg. The construction will be carried out in three stages, with each stage comprising 10 cities. GlobeTel, which will maintain the network upon its completion, will have a 50% share of the operation.
